I had the sudden urge to get out of bed at 6 AM one morning and as soon as I did my water broke, I thought I was peeing myself until I realized I couldn't control it.

I had been having regular contractions all night and I hadn't known it..I just though I had to poop really bad (tmi?)

and then they continued until about lunch when my waters ruptured...but it was super high up and the membrane didn't break...

SO! I go to the hospital for an NST that I was scheduled for and tell them I think my water broke, and they do a swab test and it comes back unclear...so they send em away for a while. (at this point, I was like...seriously?! I did NOT pee my pants, I've soaked over two full pads...and you want me to LEAVE?!) anyway, I did, then came back.

I was admitted and a day and a bit later after I dilated a few more cm the membrane for the waters was broken for me.

so, I guess I'm a SS today

The Dr. broke my water for me at the hospital. I think I was around 6 cm.

Had mine broken by my MW about 1/2 to 2/3 of the way through my 27 hours of labor. I can't remember how dilated I was at that point...maybe 6 cm's.

Mine broke while I was pushing - I actually saw it splatter on the Dr. which was pretty gross. I don't why they did not break it for me along the way since this seems to be common. My labor was really fast, so maybe that is why.
