Last night, I saw a post about getting a Tattoo during TTC. It made me wonder what Tattoos you girls have?
I have two. A flower on my lower back (centered) aka "tramp stamp" and a heart on my right hip (very small). I got both when I was like 17. I have been wanting another one with DH and my intials, cause DH has it, but have not yet.
What Tattoos do you have?
Re: S/O Tattoos (GTKY)
I have a star with the Japanese symbol for "money" in the center on my lower back.
I have three stars with my sorority letters, each star has a letter, on my left foot near my toes.
I have a red ink koi fish (the one that Brandon Boyd and Jose Pasillas have... yes I am that big of a fan) on my right foot near my ankle.
I plan to get a pink ribbon tattoo either on my left rib cage, like bra strap area, or on my wrist maybe.
I also want something white ink. I have this new fascination with white ink tattoos.
I have a half sleeve on my left arm, leopard print, red roses and a portrait of marilyn monroe. I also have a quote "I just want to be wonderful" on the base of my neck, On my right should I have a vintage swallow holding a banner that says live laugh love with some roses, and on my foot I have a dandelion blowing in the wind that says "Little dandelion let your heart keep time"
ETA: Just decided to add some pictures for sh!ts lol
Can I ask what sorority you were in? I was in one too.....

Thats my one and only Tattoo. I got it 4 years ago, when I was 23.
They are my grandparents names in Hindi.
Edit: changed PIP
I have 4. Butterfly tramp stamp that I'm hoping to cover up soon, plumeria flower with ocean waves on my right hip, the hawaiian islands going up my right hip (above the plumeria) and the a quote on my right ribcage that says E Hoomau Maua Kealoha. DH and I got matching ones.. it means "May our love last forever" in Hawaiian. We got married in Maui in 2010 and vacation there every year.
That phrase is so so sweet!
I have 2 tattoos...
The one on my ankle says father in hebrew and is surrounded by a flower growing out of a heart. I got it on his 60th birthday to represent my love and appreciation for all that he has done for me since he raised me pretty much on his own.
The other is a blue paw print/heart thing on my foot which represents my love of Penn State and of animals. I met DH at PSU along with all of my best friends and have been a vegetarian for 21yrs so I like the dual meaning.

I have an angel on my lower back (aka tramp stamp). Was going through rough when I got it so very symbolic. I also have my zodiac a taurus on my right hip.
I have 4. A tramp stamp that's just a siwrly thing going on. A paisley (for Paisley) on my ankle. Gerber daisies on my ribs. And lotus blossoms on my left shoulder.
I need a clover for Clover and I also want our married monogram

DX: severe MFI (low all 3) and low T. Undergoing replacement therapy.
I technically have 2, but the 2nd one is a cover-up of the 1st one. The first one was a heart with wings and a halo that I got on my 18th birthday. I liked it at the time, but as I got older, I realized it was fugly.
Sooooo....after much contemplation I got one with a LOT of meaning to me. Literally everything down to the colors has meaning:
It has 2 swallows for DH and I since swallows mate for life, and they also represent being grounded because no matter where they go they always return home. My swallow is pink and purple. Purple because it is my birthstone color, and pink because it is the breast cancer ribbon color, and my mom had breast cancer. DH's swallow is blue and orange. Blue for his birthstone, and orange for the MS ribbon color because his mom died from MS. It has 3 Forget-me-nots, one for my grandma, grandpa, and mother-in-law. The banner says 'Life Sweeps By" in German (roughly translated). German because I used to live there and it is my family heritage, and the phrase is from a poem I love by Johann Von Goethe that basically says "Rest not for life is sweeping by, do and dare before you die, something mighty and sublime, captured not by bounds of time."
Wow, that was long, Sorry!
** After 2 1/2 years of Unexplained IF, 2 failed medicated cycles, and 4 failed IUI's - our baby girl came to us through the miracle of Mini IVF! **
I have a heart with wings and them some other hearts around it on my lower back (huge tramp stamp)
Tinkerbell with the word believe on my left shoulder blade (DH has "believe" across his back, we got them when I left for college)
A tribal butterfly on my right foot.
And my daughter's name (Elaina) with a long stem rose pretty big in the center of my back.
Thats the only one I have a pic of on this computer.
I really want a rib piece, but I don't have the body for it at the moment. haha.

I'll love you forever Baby Speck
Ooh I love this thread
I have a very girly baby dragon (looks like it came out of my little pony or something) on my R shoulder blade. A tribal style owl and bear paw on my R side of my R calf and a Girly sailor jerry type traditional swallow on my L thigh that is carrying cherries in its beak and it has 5 nautical stars around it. I plan on getting pumpkins and vines on my ribs and sides and I want in harry potter text both "I solemnly swear that Im up to no good" and 'Mischief Managed". havent decided where those will go.. and I want a sacred heart on my chest.. I love tattoos.

I have two, a sun and moon design on my ankle, and my mom's intials with a halo above on my right lower back.
I keep thinking about getting a daisy on my foot, really small like the size of a dime. However I got my first tattoo like 10 years ago and my second 7 years ago....I'm not sure I really want to do anything else permanent. I like my tatoos, but if I woke up tomorrow and they were gone I doubt I would care much.

This is great!! I am a HUGE fan as well!!
I have one on my right shoulder it's a wolf with blue eyes very symbolic to me and has alot of meaning. Another thing for those of you with Japenese/Chinese symbols or lettering I pray that you have the right symbol and meaning. I just saw this article that tattoo places have the complete wrong symbols and meanings and alot of them they have mean crazy things.
-Across my shoulders: I have Peter, John, Wendy and Michael (and Bear) on my left shoulder blade, Tinkerbell and the second star to the right on my right blade and stardust in between
-Tramp Stamp: Skull and crossing swords with my last name and parents' initials underneath
-Legs: I have my stocking seams done and they're topped with polka dot bow ties (I LOVE polka dots)
In the future I'd like to get the skeleton of a fruit bat (for my 13th veggie-versary), Frankenstein's monster (the theme of my Volksrod), a heart shaped bottle of Jufran banana sauce surrounded by "rays" of lumpia (I'm Filipino), the phrase "all was well", an anchor for both of my grandfathers who served in the Navy, needle and thread, Wednesday Addams, a raven to symbolize Edgar Allen Poe, and so many others
