I somehow caught a cold and now I'm congested and all clogged up.  Normally I would take some nyquil and call it a night.  I called my ob and am waiting for her to call me back, but I was wondering what some other ladies have done?  I have some sudafed in my medicine cabinet.  WWYD?

Re: cold medicine while pregnant?
After 2 1/2 years TTC, 3 IUI's, endo, and a lap, a surprise BFP brought us Alexandra Marie!
My doctor recommended not taking any medicine. I just used the neti pot and saline nose spray. I was super sick in the beginning of my pregnancy with a nasty sinus infection, but stuck it out with no meds and it lasted a week.
Good luck and hope you feel better soon.
IUI#2 - 01/07/09 = BFP!!! Twins!! Pre-term labor 20 weeks
IUI#3 - 1/31/10 = BFP!!!! M/C - 8wks
IVF #1 - 7/2010 = c/p
FET - 9/2010 = another c/p
IUI#4 - 2/14/11 = BFP!
My doctor said I could take plain sudafed if I really had to.
I would highly recommend buying the saline solution that is in a can. It is sort of pressurized and it can help clean out your sinuses. It was a god-send when I had a cold (and for my allergies). It is only saline solution so it is safe for baby.
