no cute NFL maternity tops, DIY?

Season opener tonight for our Champion Green Bay Packers!!! My current packer tees are nearing the too short to fit the belly stage. I went online to look for a cute maternity tee but it seems they don't exist. They are either too plain looking or they're just an oversized tshirt so they won't really look cute when I wear them. I may have to attempt to create my own using a rouched maternity shirt that actually fits cute.

Or, if you're handy with a sewing machine and feeling adventurous, you might be able to create some rouching on a larger tee to make it cuter by sewing some elastic onto the side seams.

I was just thinking about if that was a possibility. My mom is great w/ sewing so maybe she can help me out.

I didn't like any of the Packers gear online but found a cute Packers tee at Motherhood Maternity that says "We are Green Bay Fans" or something like that. Good luck! And GO PACK GO!!!!!!

I need this shirt!!! DH would kill me, as he is a Vikings fan. Yes, we have a mixed marriage but we make it work. And I could make it even better with that shirt!!!

Redskins fan here...I looked for cute shirts yesterday online, as my current jersey is a Youth Medium. Needless to say that thing wouldn't even fit over my giant boobs, much less cover my belly for the whole season. All I found was a black t-shirt with a logo on it. DUMB! I'll be improvising some other way, too.

You could definitely make one yourself. Here's a tutorial that seems super easy. You just need to get a tshirt that is a couple sizes larger than you normally wear.

I actually found a very cute NFL tee shirt at target that I bought one size up thats really long. I'm hoping it lasts through the season. Good luck with the DIY project, post pics!

I used uberprints.com to custom design a maternity shirt for the upcoming NHL season. I wanted something long sleeved and it was the only decently fitting long sleeve tee I could find online.

We're heading to Lambeau at 4.. I think I'm going to run out, buy a shirt and some elastic and try this out!! Worse comes to worse and I wear DH's XL jersey, but I want something that shows off my bump!

I'm rocking my "Mommy's little kicker" Packers shirt today. One of my friends got it last year when she was preggo from the Packers Pro Shop and has passed it on...not sure if they still have it this season but it's worth a call down to find out!

edited to add: I have a Reggie White jersey that's big enough to last me for a couple of months, but I prefer not to wear it out and about as its one of those authentic jerseys (awesome anniversary gift from DH)
