Hi ladies!
I'm sorry to say that (while I have spent lots of time on other baby boards) I haven't been here to the local board to say HELLO! So, firstly, hi!
Secondly, I'm about to start CDing with my toddler and my 4 month old. CD friends have advised that I ask local moms what detergent you think works best with our water here in terms of laundering CDs. (I plan on using AIO's and pockets, if that makes any difference in your suggestions.)
Thank you!
Re: Cloth Diapering Mamas... detergent?
We use liquid Planet for all of our laundry. I have been using Bum Genius for just over 3 years now and I have no stink issues and I never have had to strip them. I use just enough detergent to fill the cap halfway to the 0 mark - so very little detergent.
I use ECOS free and clear. I'm way down south though and my water is different. I have had no problems so far, and I have to use very little of it for my cloth. It's also made locally, which is another reason I like buying it. I use prefolds and covers and I have 1 AIO that has had no issues.
