It's starting to dawn on me

WTF am I thinking trying to have another baby?

The boys woke up super early this morning so we brought them into our bed (they just want to play, no more sleep was to be had).  As they are climbing all over us, doing anything to sitting still... I had a mental image of a newborn wailing at the same time.

I literally said out lout to DH?  WTF is wrong with us trying to have another kid?!?!?!

Me: PCOs DH: Perfect!

    I have the same thought a few times a week. But then I remember all the other insane things DH and I have done together that have turned out pretty awesome and it makes me feel a teeny tiny bit less crazy.

    Yeah, I would agree with this statement. Wink   No, I'm kidding of course.  I know I'm not personally ready but I know that you will do great.  You have multiples and therefore, you know how to work out logistics and you will improvise.  Just like with your boys, you have to do it so you will figure it out.  You may come out with some gray hairs, but you'll figure it out. :)

    We said this many times, but it was DS1 jumping on us in the bed and it was like, what are we going to do when there are three kids in here?!!??!  Well, now DS1 rarely comes into our bed (except maybe on the weekends) and the twins like to sleep in and "play" in their beds before I go in and get them, so it worked out!

    This is how it goes: you slowly get used to more and more chaos. Pretty soon you'll look back and think "just twins" was a piece of cake. It's all about perspective ;) Currently, my older two are at preschool and kindergarten, so I "just" have my twins (2.5 years) and my 6 week old. In my warped reality, having just these 3 is a break! Go for number three--you won't regret it! :)
