Pregnant after IF

How active is your baby?

So since I've been able to feel him move which started around 17-18weeks I would classify my little guy as pretty active. As the pregnancy has progressed and he's gotten bigger I definitely feel him more and more. Now that I'm nearing the end I feel him ALL day long. Maybe a few short intervals of 15-20 min with nothing but other then that he is moving so much, my belly is contorting in all different directions all day...Luckily most of the time when I sleep at night he seems to sleep with me for the most part....just wondering, anyone else have a super active baby too??

Re: How active is your baby?

  • My baby is very active - to the point that its starting to drive me a little crazy.  I love it!

  • I feel like Piper does not stop moving!  It's crazy to see my shirt bouncing around at work because she's moving around in my belly so much.  Thankfully it's not painful (unless she decides to punch an ovary or something:P) I was told yesterday I have a posterior placenta so I probably feel her a lot more than other people since there isn't a placenta between me and her.  Made sense to me!

I do have to say that while I love it 99% of the time, it can get a little uncomfortable because she pushes out on my belly so much it feels like it's being stretched too much!  I'm just wondering what the next few weeks are going to be like:)

For the most part this is me, especially the all day long and the belly contorting for sure (it looks creepy!) but my little guy must be a night owl because he moves a ton when I'm trying to go to sleep and wakes me up in the middle of the night with his kicks and punches.

  • your baby sounds like my babies. i am at the point where i basically feel them all the time, and if i put my hand on my belly i can feel some sort of body part(s), lol.

they also seem to sleep when i do, which i love! i hear so many women whose babies decide have a party as soon as their head hits the pillow.

my favorite part of pregnancy is feeling them move, i love it. i try to imagine their little legs or arms moving around and what their little faces look like when they really get going :)

  • Mine is more active at night. Or maybe that is when I can feel movement best. When I'm lecturing I move around a bunch and don't notice movements. But when I go back to my office and put my feet up I feel lots of fist pumps. And like Nicole, I love feeling the little feet poking out. Best feeling ever.

  • Mine have become quite the little movers lately. I freaking love it! I'm to the point where I can feel body parts and at least one -or both- get hiccups every day. It's so amazing! I'm really going to miss it when it's over..... cue the sappy music.
