we don't have intown family members to rely on. Or at least any im willing to let babysit. I have a babysitter we used a few times. I'm worried about going into labor in the middle of the night. MIL can fly into town in about a day. But I don't know what we are going to do with L in the event I were to suddenly need to go to L&D. DH could watch her. But I don't want him to miss the birth. I'm
Hoping to be induced again for this reason. But I think I need to plan worse case scenario for my own sanity. What did you do?

Re: question for those without intown family
People are so willing to help out in this situation. Just don't be afraid to ask. You may feel that you are imposing but you would do it for them right? Does LO go to daycare/school? If you ask another parent, they usually have the carseat and could help with drop offs and pick up. You could probably arrange for your sitter to come in the middle of the night and then come back in the evening.
We had friends on call but I also talked with my OB and towards the end she would let me know if she thought I should have my mom fly up that week. We ended up having my mom here for 6 days before Noah was born but she was able to help with Benjamin and it put my mind at ease.
Good luck. Trying to figure out what to do with B in the event of labor was probably my biggest concern of my pregnancy.
