Hey! Feeling great, thanks!! I too can't believe I'm almost 9 months pg--it's flown by so fast!!
Sorry you haven't been feeling so well but glad to hear you're doing a little better! Just think, in a few weeks, you'll hopefully have your 2nd wind and be nausea free!!
I had m/s with my singleton and zero with the girls, so that was something (unpleasantly) new this pg. I was working PT during the first tri, and ironically, on the days I worked (2-3 days a wk), I felt I wasn't nearly as nauseated as the days I had to take care of DDs full time. For me, getting up and making myself eat either a bowl of plain oatmeal and a banana or some toast took the edge off of feeling crumby. Also, I think snacking all day kept m/s at bay!! Any bland snacks like graham crackers, Pirate's booty, granola bars, etc. seemed to also help whenever a wave of nausea came.
Exercising this pg has been really helpful, esp. with the first tri when I was so tired and sick. Once I got going at the gym or outside, I always felt better!!
As far as keeping up with LOs, I just allowed myself some laid-back days (i.e. we would just stay in and play with books, puzzles, watch DVDs, etc.) and would *try* to lay down while they napped. Even if I didn't sleep, it was good to rest for a half hour and relax!! I ordered a lot of takeout or made very simple (and probably very bland-tasting) one pot meals until I felt better and had a bigger appetite. On the weekends, I didn't feel bad that DH was getting up and letting me sleep in while he took care of the girls. That helped out a lot!!
HTH! I'm so happy and excited for you!! Again, congratulations!!!!
I'm feeling even better than yesterday so I'm hoping it's a good sign that it "may" not come back? LOL
It's probably wishful thinking! hahaha
My first u/s is scheduled in a week or two I haven't received official notice, my Dr. wasn't even going to send me in for an early u/s because I had spontenaous twins...which I thought was odd? Our healthcare system is VERY different, we don't pay for our healthcare and a routine u/s here is at 19-20 weeks (I thought it was around 18 the first time) unless you have complications and/or would be doing fertility then they would follow you closely, but I mean if you have a history of twins you think they would do an early u/s to verify, so many things can happen up until an u/s.
Long story short his not is to "check on my dates" so I should know in a couple of weeks if there's more than one or just one, I'll be happy with the results, but it's boggling my mind until then since it's a possibility
Glad you're doing well, keep us posted, are you having a boy or girl this time around?

Having a boy this time around!! It's kind of like starting over again though b/c everything baby-wise is pink so I should have been more gender neutral with most baby items. Oh well. We're really excited!!
Hope you continue to feel better and better! Please keep us posted on the upcoming ultrasound!
