When will you put out your fall decor?

With the fall like weather we've been having lately, I've started thinking about bringing up our fall/Halloween decorations. I love this time of year!

I just read the replies and all the fall talk really made my heart skip a beat. I'm switching out candles tomorrow. I'm with trees, I need a wreath.

I am ready for fall. I have been looking for fall decorating and fall baking ideas for the last few weeks. I am going to look for a few new fall decor items today and am in the process of making a few decorations now. I usually don't put up anything until Oct. 1st though.

I put my decorations out Tuesday. I don't have a whole lot but put up a fall wreath on my door, a few things inside, and a few things outside. I have also been burning Fall scented candles for a couple of weeks already!

We will get pumpkins probably in a few weeks and I'll add them outside too!

Well, it's still disgustingly hot and/or humid here, so it doesn't feel like fall. I'll wait until it's consistently cooler, or the equinox, whichever comes first. Halloween stuff will probably go up at the beginning of Oct. We won't get our pumpkins until the week before Halloween though.

Most likely Oct. 1st. DH will be home that weekend and he can help me get all the stuff up and done. I rarely put up before the beginning of October, but that is because here in FL is still so stinking hot, it just doesn't feel like fall to me and I hate looking at fall decorations when it is 106 degrees out. Even though it is still hot in October, I know it will only be 1 more month until we start having some cooler weather and if I don't put it out in October it won't get put up at all.

When I lived in PA we put stuff up right after Labor day.

I keep telling my DH that it's basically fall after Labor Day is over, so that I can decorate. He is still clinging to the last bits of summer...so I guess I'll have to wait until the first day of Fall, Sept 23rd. Oh well...

We put ours up Labor Day weekend. Earlier than we usually do, but we are pretty busy this month and I knew we wouldn't have time any other weekend.

FWIW, I'm in FL too, but I still have to have my fall decor out in September.
