My baby is sick : (

I came home from work today, and FI said that DD was extremely tired and had a stuffy nose. I didn't really think much of it since she has her top 2 teeth coming in. I took her temp, and it wasn't anything too alarming, 99*. I debated a little, then decided to run her into the ER to get looked at just because she just didn't seem "right." Long, boring hospital story later, DD has the youngest case of strep throat the Dr had ever seen. It is uncommon for a baby under 2 to get strep. The nurse said I should thank the Dr who tested her because 99.9% of the time a baby that young wouldn't have been tested.I guess I'm just thankful that I trusted my instincts.

    awww poor baby!!!

    Im glad you trusted your instint and took her in!!!

    I'm home sick too, started with the flu and now have pneumonia, thankfully ds hasn't caught it yet!!  Its so hard to see them so little and sick.

    I hope she gets better soon!!

    Pnemonia!? I hope you get feeling better!!  I'm glad your little guy hasn't gotten it yet!! I hate seeing her sick like this,
