Anyone else's nose bleeding all of the time?

I have had nose bleeds at night pretty much every night for the last 3 weeks or so and now I'm getting them during the day, too. Anyone else dealing with them? Any ideas on how to make it stop or less frequent? I'm going to try Vaseline in the nose tonight to try to get some moisture up there. I remember reading that this is one of those lovely things that come with pregnancy!

  • ME! Except mine occur in the AM. I haven't tried anything to remedy them yet.

  • My Dr. said it could happen as a result of the increased blood flow.

  • Maybe call your OB and see what they have to say. If its a normal pregnancy symptom I am sure they have a ton of ideas you could try. Maybe a humidifier?

  • Mine has not actively bled but in the morning when I blow my nose (thanks to pregnancy-related congestion) I often have blood on my tissue. It is a normal pregnancy symptom.

  • My doc said they're pretty normal and to use unmedicated saline nasal spray if it happens.  I'm not sure what else can be done about them.

Same here. Mine has only bled a little once or twice. I normally have allergies anyway, but my congestion and the dryness of my nose has gotten worse as my pregnancy progresses. I think if the nosebleeds start to last a while and you think you are losing a lot of blood, then you should talk to your OB it.
