But I just started trying to do crunches, and I am still so numb, that I can't feel it, and while that may sound good, lol, it scares me that I might over do it!
A small amount of pain is normal yes. In time-- it will stop.
When I had my son I start doing crunches at 4 months postpartum, and it was more of a burning feeling. Sometimes I'd get a random sharp pain that lasted about 3 seconds, but nothing too horrible.
I would assume it's normal. I was told another 8 weeks before starting stomach exercises or anything too intense. That's about 14 weeks total. Your muscles need to come back to somewhat normal before the pain stops I would think.
Re: pain with crunches?
I would think it is.
