DD's cousin is going in for surgery to fix two holes in his heart on the 19th...Poor little guy is 8 months old and has to have open heart surgery, and the doctors are giving him a 50% chance of making it. Sad

It's been really rough on his parents since he was born. He was born with mosaic Down's (which no one was expecting because none of the prenatal tests came back with any of the markers), the two holes in his heart, and fluid in the sac around his heart. They were originally going to wait until he was a year old before doing the surgery, but lately he's been having periods where he'll stop breathing and turn blue and the doctors didn't want to risk waiting any longer.

Any thoughts, prayers, and good vibes will be much appreciated.
