dequervain's surgery XP

Hi-hoping for words of advice from any moms who have dealt with Dequervain's. 

My LO is almost 7 mos and the pain in both hand is still constant so I am considering the surgery.  Has anyone here had success with physical therapy or surgery, will it just eventually go away on its own? 

 I want to be able to fully enjoy my son and right now I am feeling guilty and limited because holding him can be so painful.

    It's an easy surgery with easy recovery.  You will be pleased with the results ;)  typically patients are off the pain medication within two days and feel pretty normal soon thereafter.
