Weekly NST's at the end?

So just got back from OB, everything looks good. He did say that he's going to start me on weekly NST's/fetal monitoring until delivery since I was IVF. Not sure exactly why that makes a difference, but anyone else have to do the same?

    yea, mine started at 31 weeks!

    I just started but my Dr said it was b/c I was 40 and twins.

    I have it done weekly because of GD.  I'm not even sure the MFM knows I did IVF.  I wonder why it makes a difference?

    No one mentioned that to me - they know I did IVF but I'm not sure if that's standard. What does IVF have to do with it?

    Yes. Mine started today. Twice a week until delivery. Reason: Marginal cord insertion.

    Unexplained IF
    Clomid cycle 1-3 - BFN IUI 1-3 - BFN 
    IVF 1 - BFP 4/4/11 - It's a boy!
    FET 1 - BFP M/C 6/14
    IVF 2 - 33R/19F 12 PGS resulted in 5 normal embies
    FET 1 scheduled 12/10/14

    my MFM won't be doing them for me.

    he said i have had no complications, there is no need. i was surprised, i figured they were standard for twins!

    I have 2 NSTs weekly started last week due to fluid levels decreasing, not sure why IVF has anything to do with it. They just want to make sure baby is moving around

    I wonder what their reasoning is just because you did IVF?!  I don't know what normal procedure would have been, but I've only started twice-weekly NSTs due to baby measuring small.
