I have a feeling that we'll be invited to a few Halloween parties this year where everyone--both adults and kids--get dressed up. So, I'm trying to find a costume theme for DH, Piper, Fletch, and me. For example, we have friends that dressed up as the Simpsons with the parents being Homer and Marge and their three kids as Bart, Lisa, and Maggie (including their baby wearing a blue sleep sack and paci). Another set of friends dressed up as The Incredibles.
So, any creative ideas of what we could all be?
Re: Halloween costumes for whole family--any ideas?
We (half jokingly) threw around the idea of all of us (me, DH, kids, and a neighborhood family) would dress up as The Jersey Shore. It is not the most tasteful/family friendly idea but I think it would be hysterical!
I have also seen a lot of Star Wars costumes for little kids and I am sure you could find adult Star Wars as well.
I may have to suggest this just for the sheer number of cool (or maybe nerdy) wife points I'd get from DH. He'd love nothing more than for us to dress the babies as little Ewoks.
Nah, they should be Luke and Leia. They were twins, after all! You could be Amidala and your DH could be pre-helmet Vader.
And now that I have shocked myself with my own nerdiness, I'm going to go hide.

An easy costume that would work for the family would be to be an NFL team--DH could go as the head coach, your LOs football players and you as the head cheerleader!
DH and I are going to dress in white and go as beekeepers, and our girls are going to be dressed up as our bees. I need to find some yellow onesies and add black felt stripes and make black antenna headbands.
