So I've finally gotten a chance to get on here for more than 30 seconds from my phone! We had an extremely busy last 2 days (weekend for me) and I only got a chance to update because I went back to work! lol
Monday we had our huge Labor Day picnic. Everyone had a ton of fun. And I also learned that I'm not allergic to bees. I got stung on the finger.
Boo! But by the end of the night I hardly noticed it anymore.
Tuesday we had our first appointment. Last pg during our first appointment we got to see the doctor right away and have our first u/s. This time we just saw the nurse. I was pissed and so was DH because he skipped school to come along. We did all the fun first-time stuff (weight, b/p, health history questions, blood work, piac). Then she told us we'd be scheduled to meet with the dr late this week or early next. That didn't work for me because I would need to let work know today if I needed to go on light duty. So we got in later in the afternoon. That appointment went great! Our doctor said he was so excited to see us back on his calendar! And we got to see our peanut! I think h/she was sleeping because there wasn't a whole lot of movement, but we did se the face and the beautiful little flicker of a h/b.
Here's a PIP (excuse the crappy quality, I took it with my phone and the paper is shiny):

H/She is measuring right on track and everything is looking awesome. Our NT is scheduled for 9/23 and our next appointment is scheduled for 10/3 (13 weeks).
Re: Busy weekend and update!
Unfortunately (or fortunately some days) I am not on light duty yet. I'm going to continue to work as normal for the time being. He said he wasn't worried about it til about 18 weeks, when he's imposing a strict limit of no more than 20lbs for liftin (which includes DD). I told my supervisor today and said that I'll continue to work as long as I am comfortable. It gives me more money, more things to do, and the longer I can go without being on light duty the better because once I do, I'll be sitting at a desk all day just being bored and getting fat.
