How many preschoolers on the board?

I know my DD is one of the older kids, so I was wondering who has kids in preschool now? I know a lot are new to preschool... the kids are growing up so fast!

My 4.5 year old starts preschool next week (Sept 12). We were going to enroll our 23 month old, but I want to wait a little bit, maybe start her in January when she is actually 2. It's funny seeing the little kids starting preschool, they look so tiny! My 4 year old did summer preschool camp with 3 year olds and the 3 year olds were so little comparatively!

Belle's center is really big on their preschool and pre-k programs which starts in their toddler rooms. So while Belle was in daycare all summer and well all year, yesterday was their first day of the new school year.

Belle's class is back into their normal routine with cirlce time, gym time, art projects, all the fun stuff. I am thankful they start this in the toddler room so she will know the routine for preschool. Her center also has dance and tae kwon do which starts up next week. She's not really in preschool yet but back to a more structured day then just playing all day.

I dropped Charlie off to Pre-K this morning. I only shed a few tears!

He just seems so little. I think he's the youngest in his class (cut off is Dec. 1st so he's only 3) and it is in the elementary school & all those kids look so big!

He is going to have a blast though

Rosie just started her second year of preschool today. I couldn't believe how much bigger all the kids are, she started with them last year and they were all little 2.5 year olds.

Chelsea starts a 3-yr-old program on the 15th. She'll only go Tues/Thurs 9-11:30 but she is so excited! I fought the idea for a while, but it is going to be so good for her.

Ian's been in a Preschool room at daycare since April. He'll be moving up to the next room officially in a couple weeks, but has already been working with the new teacher since yesterday.

Justin starts next week. Just like xKimx's Charlie, Justin is a late birthday so he'll be in the 3yr old class but won't be 3 until November 13th. He's been talking about "school" non stop.

Tyler started today. Same school as last year and only half day again, but they moved him to a new room with a new teacher and new therapists. I was very excited to see lots of girls in his class, the school is mostly full of boys, and Tyler prefers playing with girls which is probably part of the reason they chose that room. Brianna has her orientation on Sunday then starts a 2 yr old program next Tuesday. I know she is going to love it, she always wants to stay at school with Tyler, I can't wait!
