I am new to the area and have used the Everett Clinic System 3 times. I am curious what other people think about it... I was happy with the walk-in clinic. I like the idea and possibility of getting medical help without an appointment and not needing to go to the ER.
I took DS there for his well visit - not impressed.... I can't believe they didn't ask me about milestones... I found this very odd. The doctor was a little awkward with him too.
Then yesterday I went for a Gastroenterology appointment. I was very happy with the doctor and I like that they are connected with lab and radiology and therefore the follow-up stuff is very convenient. Overall a good impression.
So I have some mixed feelings and wanted to know... in general what are peoples impressions about The Everett Clinic and does it have a good reputation? Not sure if I should "stay" in the system or try to get other recommendations for other physicians?
Re: The Everett Clinic- What are your thoughts?
We see an Everett Clinic pedi for Madeline, Dr. Katsh at the Founder's Building in Everett. She has been amazing. She has a great bedside manner, is very calming and quiet. She was also my H's pedi when he was little. She was recommended to me from other gals on this board. We chose to drive a little further and not see the pedi's in Lake Stevens due to mixed reviews of the pedi's there.
In general I think the Everett Clinic has a good reputation. I personally think the Walk-In Clinic's are wonderful, and have had great experiences myself.
If you are looking for another recommendation I think the Providence health care system is also a good one in our area. My primary Dr. is a Providence doctor, and growing up I went to a pedi who works for Providence (Dr. Dastvan, she still practices and also comes recommended by people on this board).

Will you please give me the name of your gyn with Evt Clinic? My Evt Clinic dr told me to see one about abdominal pain. When I asked which dr, she said that they are all good. I would rather go to one that was recommended than just guess.
I like Everett Clinic overall. I've been to the one in Everett, Marysville and now Silverlake. Their allergy department is great. Dr. McBride figured out (after I had an anaphylactic episode) that I reacted to sulfites. He guessed based on what I told him happened. Pretty impressive.
I did not like their gastroenterology department. They were not helpful to me at all. The dr had no bedside manner and seemed dismissive of my issues.
OP - I hope you find the doctors that are the best match for your family's needs.
Newlyweds since 2007
We've been with TEC for a year and a half now and I'm kind of like you. When we first moved here I was 20 somethin weeks pg with Junior and got stuck with an OB/GYN I really wasn't to crazy about, but I did like the nurse practitioner Lisa Tucker when he was out of the office though. After Junior was born we have been using Dr. Beighle in Silver Lake for his well visits and I highly recommend her. She checks the milestones and doesn't rush during our visits.
We've also been to the Walk-in in Everett and have seen 3 diff. doctors there and I didn't like any of them and was not treated well. We were told to go there and the doctor we saw told us we needed to go to a primary and didn't do anything for us.
I finally got a primary that we went to Mill Creek for the ARNP and I really like her.
