We have been looking at cribs for quite some time and now it is time to decide. We are looking at the Delta crib from Target that is $129.99 and the Kendall Crib from Pottery Barn Kids that is $399. Our Target doesn't have the cribs set up in store so it is hard to see what the durability is of the crib from just pictures online.
I like the style of both cribs but am willing to pay more if it is worth it to get the PBK crib due to craftsmanship and customer service.
Just have to convince my husband.
Re: PBK vs. Target Crib
Ditto. That's a lot of extra money, IMO.

Personally I would go with the one from Target (my crib was from BRU for about $200). I think you are paying more just for the PB name. You do want a crib to be good quality but your child is also only going to use it for about 2years, versus the 30+ years that DH and I plan on using our bedroom furniture.
Another thing to mention, I've heard people say that even if you get a convertible crib (a more long-term investment), and plan on using it as a full size bed when your child is older, your baby may scratch it up pretty good with teething on the rails.
The problem I had when looking at cribs online is that they aren't the same color in person. I was set on a Delta Venetian in Cherry and then say it in person, it's way lighter than I had expected and switched to the Baby Cache we bought.
If you like the Delta try to see if it's at another store you can actually see it. That's my recommendation.
