For those whose kids have begun school, what have you packed in their lunches? Tomorrow is the first day of school around us. Today I made rice krispies and granola to put in their lunch with a turkey sandwich, peice of fruit and water bottle. Friday, the girls want wraps, pudding, fruit and water.

Re: Soo far for lunches...
Main item.....PBJ, turkey/cheese sandwich, mac & cheese, bowtie pasta with marinara, hot dog with baked beans.
Then two of the following, usually....applesauce, orange slices, apple, pears, peaches, strawberries, grapes, yogurt.
He really dislikes raw veggies, and I only have one hot container, so we make up for veggies at night.
Water, milk or Horizon Kids organic drink pouches
Today my oldest is taking turkey sandwiches on slider buns and my middle one is taking PB and banana sandwich. Both will have a pudding, carrot sticks and water in their lunch.
This is only day 2 for us though we've been packing lunch for PK for 2 years. Yesterday it was PB&Js (their request) with strawberries and yogurt. Today it was leftover pasta with butter and parm, a couple of turkey meatballs, grapes, and Gogurt.
This year the kids have decided they don't like deli meat or cheese sticks (sigh) which leaves mac and cheese, pasta with edamame, chicken nuggets, bagel bites or pizza. They will eat carrots, strawberries, grapes, applesauce, mandarin oranges, yogurt, veggie straws, pretzels, and raisins. I feel like it is the same things over and over again, but they don't seem to care.
