Rain

I seriously cannot take all this rain.  It rained most of the weekend, and most of yesterday, and now it is coming down pretty hard.  DD doesn't go back to school until Sept 12th and I seriously think I'm going to lose my mind!  It's one thing doing some back to school shopping, lunch dates, etc. - but the kids need to get outside and run around!  And those indoor play places don't compare.. we need fresh air and being able to run around as much as they want!

Plus the orchard has honeycrisp apples and I'm dying to go.. but even if the grass is wet the kids will end up soaked.. come on sunshine!

    One of my best friends lives in Schoharie, her parents lost their house, and although she is up on a mountain, she had flooding and lost power for over a week.  She is devastated seeing her hometown and downtown Schoharie basically destroyed.  This rain is not helping with flooding and relief efforts, my heart is breaking for her.. keep flood victims in your thoughts..

    How sad and scary!  

    I agree with you!  I was determined to get out of the house even with the rain today, but I don't park in the garage (no room) and can't think of anywhere to go that doesn't have a LONG walk through the parking lot....UGH.  I am so bored and the kids are so miserable!
