terrible gas pain and bloat

So it's 3:30 in the morning and I can't sleep. Ever since I got up at 2:00 for my usual nightly pee, I have not been able to fall back asleep. I am so bloated and filled with gas.... I am not in "pain" so much as VERY uncomfortable. I know I'm supposed to avoid certain foods and such, but is there anything I can take once it's too late and I feel this way. I'm not sure that TUMS helps with gas??

Ugh, I'm miserable and am not ready to be "up" for the work day in 3 hours =( While my husband sleeps soundlessly next to me.... UGH, MEN!!! They have this 9 months so easy!!!

    Just wanted to let you know that you're not alone!  It's always worse for me at night.  I was hoping it would go away soon Stick out tongue Maybe I'm too optimistic? LOL

    Gas and bloat has gotten worse with each pregnancy for me. The good thing is the bloat should go down eventually. For me it did at 12 weeks with my second pregnancy. Unfortunately I had issues with gas, indigestion, etc all throughout my second pregnancy. Tums and Mylanta were my best friends. I hope you feel better soon.

    I was up last night with terrible gas cramps :-(.  I cannot for the life of me go to the bathroom.  It has been a week.  I reaaaaally dont want to take a laxative bc they make me feel sick too.  I took a Colace this morn and I hope it helps, but I have also been taking those most of this week with no luck.  I hope you feel better soon!

    Reading this actually was  releif to me. I was going to post about gas pains as well as last night I had a pretty bad scare and was doubled over for about ten minutes from gas pains. Now I see that I am far from alone on this one.
