Regarding **Allergy Free Recipe Exchange**

I'm sorry I haven't been doing my job and posting on time.  School started last week and I'm up to my ears testing students and going through data at home.  Plus juggling all my planning with a very active toddler means I can't get on much!

Do any of you regulars wants to take over?  I have been posting the link on 9-12, 12-14, Attachment Parenting, and the School Age boards.

Re: Regarding **Allergy Free Recipe Exchange**

  • I will try to post it if i remember... but i think who ever remembers, just post.  I thought about posting it couple of times but didn't know if that was rude since you usually post it. :)

******and here is a recipe i made last week and DH swears by it!*******

You can use turkey ground meat or beef.. I tend to stick to turkey

(also, i usually eye ball the ingredients so you can add more/less of what ever you desire).

-1 lb ground turkey meat (or beef)
    -1/4 Cup ketchup
-1/2 Cup of panko bread crumbs (or any bread crumbs, but panko is SF)
    -2 - 3 Tbsp minced onion
    -Salt
    -Pepper
-1/2 Cup panko bread crumbs for coating (optional)

Roll into small balls and coat each one in the bread crumbs (this is totally optional and it depends on how much time i have if i do this or not)

Bake for 10 mins and then roll them over on the other side for additional 10 m.

Take a small deep pan and fill it will tomato sauce (room temp or hot) and dunk all the meat balls in it and bake for another 10 mins

**I noticed my DH likes the meatballs small.. but obviously make and adjust the time you bake on the size of the balls.

**use more panko bread crumbs if meatballs are not sticking. Turkey meat is much more watery so it needs more breadcrumbs to stick (especially without egg).. but ground beef should be enough (or less)
