Two years ago, we made the decision to TTC...at the time I was 36 going on 37. Within one month - pow. It was that easy (with some of those handy ovulation predictor things). We feel very fortunate that it was that easy and that we have such a healthy and happy LO; we know how challenging it could have been (or the fact that it is impossible for many). We count our lucky stars on a daily basis. Now that our LO is past a year, we're thinking of a second. For those of you who had an easy time the first time around, did you find that carried over to the second time around? I figure there are a range of experiences and we won't really know until we try again. Just curious, though. I probably need to hear that it isn't easy second time around from some as to not get my hopes up too high.
Re: if first time TTC after 35 was easy, how is second time around?

got pg with my son on the first real try when i was 38.
it was a whole different story when we ttc #2, took ~2 years. we eventually got lucky, but i thought my previous fertility was an indication that it wouldn't be hard a second time ... not so much.
so ... good luck, but don't wait too long before seeking help this time around.
Thanks.
