1) what did you almost name your LO(s)? Maxine Elizabeth

3) did you decide the name before or after they were born? Before, we had many long, in depth "discussions" - needed to watch the nicknames as our last name is O'Reilly and so many nicknames end in "y" so we didn't want anything to rhyme. I loved Maxine but DH said she would be called Maxi Pad in school, so that became her middle name.

3) did you decide the name before or after they were born? After, W had no name until about 12ish hours old. Since we have surprises we just have a list of acouple for each sex and see what fits.

3) did you decide the name before or after they were born? Before. I was mostly certain that I was having a boy before the ultrasound told me so, but as soon as we confirmed it we started calling him Tristen.

1) what did you almost name your LO(s)? With Max, it's a good thing we both loved Maxwell, because we had nothing else! With Anna we thought about a lot of names but nothing jumped out to both of us until we hit on her name and that was the clear choice.

2) what nicknames do you give your LO(s)? DS: Max, Bug, Bugaboo. DD: So far Anna Boo and Punkin.

3) did you decide the name before or after they were born? With Max we had it picked even before we knew boy or girl. With Anna I think we were settled on it by the time I was 7ish months.

1) what did you almost name your LO(s)? Didn't have any close seconds. We had a really hard time agreeing.

2) what nicknames do you give your LO(s)? In utero we called her Nougat. I thought it would stick after she was born, but not so much. Now I call her monkey, munchkin, punkin, baby girl? nothing too original.

3) did you decide the name before or after they were born? We decided way early? we knew going into the anatomy scan that if she was a girl she would be Lila Avery.

1) what did you almost name your LO(s)? - Ben was almost Ryan. Cooper I guess might also have been Ryan. We pretty much had nothing planned for him and Steve had rejected Cooper originally... but then my water broke in the middle of the night at nearly 34 weeks and on the drive to the hospital he said "I think Cooper is good now"

2) what nicknames do you give your LO(s)? - Mostly just stupid things.. nothing that really sticks. Ben gets called Ba Ba because that's what Cooper calls him. We call Cooper "Cooper Duper". I call them both Sweet Boy, Sweetie, etc...

3) did you decide the name before or after they were born? - Neither of them was really named til after they were born. Ben it was like 9 hours later before we picked. Cooper like I said was sort of on the way to the hospital but I still was leaving it open til he was born. We didn't pick a middle name til later though - we had no ideas for that.

1) what did you almost name your LO(s)? DD was going to be an Corine or Adleigh and I REALLY wanted Adam or Ian for DS, but DH veto'd... After he was born, we agreed on 3 names, Garrett, Gavin and Ryan. He was 25 hours old before we named him...or I gave up and let DH pick.

1) what did you almost name your LO(s)? Laurel was always the girl name. For a boy we liked Lance for awhile but we got a lot of grief for it and then Lane came to be the #1 boy name. Some names for #2 if it's a girl: Lucille, Livia, Violet, Melanie. I really DON'T want to have two L names. I'm willing to stick with Lane if it's a boy, but I'd rather do something different for a girl. I think DH already has his heart set on Lucille (Lucy), though.

For a boy, I wanted Jude or Jakob, he wanted Grady or Orion or Wyatt. Middle name is after a dear deceased friend so that was pretty set. 2) what nicknames do you give your LO(s)? 3) I had wanted to name a girl after my grandmother for as long as I could remember, so that was settled almost as soon as we knew we were having a girl, even though we entertained some other names for a bit. Her MN wasn't chosen until about a month before she was born, and even then we were waffling until she arrived.

1) what did you almost name your LO(s)? - Jacob was always our only boy name. We were always 100% on it. Originally it was going to be Jacob Ryan, but we decided we also liked Ryan as a first name, so we went with Jacob Michael so we could use Ryan for a potential 2nd boy.

2) what nicknames do you give your LO(s)? - Jakeopotomus, Jakey, bubba, buttercup

3) did you decide the name before or after they were born? - We decided on Jake's name before we even started TTC. If we have a boy this time, we've already decided on Ryan. We won't come up with a girl's name until the anatomy scan because we currently have zero names and there is no way I could come up with something unless I know it's actually a girl.

1- K would have been Liam if she was a boy. We didn't have another girl name that we both liked, but if it were solely up to me she would have been Katherine. G was almost Camden.
2- K is my little "love bug" (aka love, lovey, bug) and G is "G Man"
3- Both were named before birth and had their name on the nursery wall by the 3rd tri. This one will not be named until after birth since we are team green. We are pretty certain on our boy name but still don't have a girl name picked out.

1) what did you almost name your LO(s)? Eli, never had a other option. may have kicked a few names around but Eli was always the top runner and the others just didnt do it for me. Kai was almost a River or a Wade

Brian has a pilots license and came up with that name after looking up meanings.Brian loves flying so much and I loved it so we went with it. When we found out we were having a another boy we decided to name this oine after something I loved, water. So we looked up names meaning water and River and Wade were the front runners till I stumbled on kai. kai it was. It sounds great with Eli and it was 3 letters ending in I also. Perfect!

When we talk about her to others we refer to her as the Wee One or Lillian. When we are talking to her she's Lily, or Lala (since that's a sound she makes frequently), Sweet Pea McGee, Lily Pie, Sugar Pie etc.

3) did you decide the name before or after they were born? Both of them were surprises. Hannah was our #1 girl name so that was easy. Gavin was 24hrs old before we decided on his name.
