i keep telling myself that i will stop worrying after my appt this week at 17w2d. i have a friend that had a missed m/c at 12wks, and found out at her 16 wk appt. after this appt, i think we will start shopping for major stuff. we still don't have a single thing for baby.

April IVF Spring Chicks
Morning ladies!
1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? 28 weeks, exactly 7 months (although I look like more). No new pains, just starting to get BH's
2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? I have a Bradley class Wed. Next actual appointment is Sept. 28th. Just routine.
3. What are you looking forward to this week? Painting the nursery walls. I'm so excited that it's coming together.
4. Tuesday confession? I had a small glass of wine while I was cooking last night. I didn't finish it as I felt a little guilty.
5. When did you start buying the *big* things? Did you wait until after your shower to fill in the gaps? ?patsad24 We started buying the big things when we found out what we were having. Big meaning furniture and a pump.
8. Anyone started/finished/in the process of decorating baby's room? We're in the process and I'm starting to see the light at the end of the construction work. Then, I'll have to actually decorate and put in furniture.9. Do you ever stop worrying? -RequiresExaulted I worry less about the actual pregnancy but more about what happens after he's here.

As for me I'm at cycle 33 or so and probably waiting to O. I've been on vacation for over a week and am getting back into the swing of things at work this week. I start a new job in two weeks with a significant pay raise, which will help with IF costs. Will probably move forward with treatments in the spring or early summer of this next year.
1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? 34 and increasingly uncomfortable.
2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? Tomorrow, just the norm.
3. What are you looking forward to this week? Baby class Saturday and Shower on Sunday

9. Do you ever stop worrying? -RequiresExaulted Not really. Every time I go to the doctor I feel releaved to hear her heart beat. I get worried when I don't remember feeling her move for a long time.

1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? 20 weeks today! I can't really hold anything down lately that has any flavor. Even fruit sometimes is too tart or sweet. Last night I threw up my stable PB on rice cakes.
2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? Friday is the anatomy scan!!
3. What are you looking forward to this week? Friday!
4. Tuesday confession? I know my entire family is going to be calling me on Friday to find out the gender and I'm kinda sad I can't do something fun like buy some "its a ___" balloons to deliver since they all live so far away.

For those having No. 2, what did you replace from No. 1? ?MrsEditorJax Our crib mattress because when I pulled it out it had mold everywhere, our swing because I loaned it out to friends who returned it smelling funky and not working in 2 of the 3 settings, our high chair becuase we have a different house than we did when Walter was little and want something with wheels (we only had a portable space saver last time) and new baby gates (again new house)

I can't wait to start! ?kristalovesjared We have color picked out and when we know boy/girl we'll look at accessories. We will get new crib sheets and I'll use the old skirt as a pattern for the new fabric. We didn't do a bedding set last time and won't this time either.
9. Do you ever stop worrying? -RequiresExaulted i almost dragged my entire family to the ER this weekend because I didn't think I could feel the baby move at all. So i'm pretty sure I'll never stop worrying!

4. Tuesday confession? I was relieved to send DD to daycare today. She's been not feeling well which = overly clingy & cranky. I feel guilty about it cause I always tell people my dream is to be a SAHM.

We'll do the nursery after we find the sex out. Hopefully get some big items for xmas & don't expect any big gifts at shower since this is #2.
6. For those having No. 2, what did you replace from No. 1? ?MrsEditorJax carseat, crib (drop side recalled), bottle nipples, paci's, any of the "big" items with #1 we got gender neutral so we can re-use.
7. If having #2 or #3 is there one item you really need this time? ?cmcmilan Our travel system was a hand-me-down, so we need to get a new infant carseat & double stroller.

I can't wait to start! ?kristalovesjared I feel it's too early & I"m too busy with my toddler. Will wait until after we find out the sex (2 weeks!) & even then, probably won't be as gung-ho as I was with #1. Simply because I have NO time. Unless I let DD help paint. Sounds like a giant mess tho!

I bought a few outfits after the 20 week u/s, but I wanted to wait to fill in holes. I got almost everything I needed at my showers. I just had to fill in a few holes.9. Do you ever stop worrying? -RequiresExaulted Nope. In fact, I worried up until the time he was born, and then more afterwards. Try to not let the worry consume you, and try to enjoy this very special time in your life. It's hard, but with each passing week, you'll get more and more confident.

I've been a lurker for a few weeks now (because it's my first and I didn't want to "jinx" it by jumping in too soon) but since we're waiting to tell family I needed somewhere to spill. Just moved to the Seattle area Memorial Day weekend from Boston so I don't yet have any close friends here. EDD is April 21, but likely to change since my first real appointment isn't for several more weeks.

1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? 12w0d, I think I'm starting to feel round ligament pain. Pinching pains on the right side of my abdomen. That and my allergies are going crazy. 2. I have an appt with the high risk OB on Friday that I'm pretty sure will be just a meet & greet so that on the off chance that something does flare up I've already established care there. 1. What week are you in? 32 Any new aches or pains? I try not to *** too much (my close friends and husband may say otherwise =P) but damn am I sore! Every morning I wake up feeling like I ran a marathon the day before..
2. When is your next appointment? Thursday Will anything special happen at that appointment? Monday's appt was an NST, so that means this appt will be a U/S, twice weekly appts are crazy.. I feel like I am ALWAYS at the dr!
3. What are you looking forward to this week? Taking a 3 day weekend, and I have some dates with friends
4. Tuesday confession? Hmm... I cant really think of anything

Except there were some things we didnt register for just becuase I wouldnt expect someone to actually buy them (crib, super expensive stroller, etc) That we bought pre shower.
6. For those having No. 2, what did you replace from No. 1? ?MrsEditorJax Just nursery decor, and stroller everything else is being reused because we had to buy a second of everything already.

I can't wait to start! ?kristalovesjared We have started, not finished... I think we're going to finish tomorrow though, or at least this week. I cant shake this feeling that the babies are going to come earlier than planned and I dont want to be caught off guard.
9. Do you ever stop worrying? -RequiresExaulted If you do, it doesnt happen before theyre 3 thats for sure! I will say that now that Holden is more independent and sturdy the things I worry about are completely different.

1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? 34 weeks - everything is stretching and the pressure is starting to get worse.
2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? One yesterday and then next is 9/22 - Group B Strep test
3. What are you looking forward to this week? Nothing. It's been 90's and lowest upper 80's during the day here in Eugene and I'm dying.

I can't wait to start! ?kristalovesjared - Since baby will be in with us for the first few months and potentially sharing a room with Emma for awhile, we're not doing much this time around.

1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? I think I'm in 17, but lately I can't remember!
2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? I have a regular appointment with a midwife next week- nothing special.
3. What are you looking forward to this week? Honestly- just the week being over. I have had to do some heinous stuff at work this week- the unpleasant part of an otherwise amazing job.
4. Tuesday confession? I have eaten enough chocolate today to kill any dog. I think I've lost any ability to justify the In and Out Burger splurge I was planning on the business trip I am on now.

We hit 18wks today (Thursday), woohoo! No "new" aches or pains, but my back's still pretty sore.
2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment?
Next OB appointment is 6th October; we've got our anatomical scan ultrasound set for the next day! It'll be awesome to see the baby again.

We bought a stroller on kids.woot before we officially started TTC, if that counts, LOL. Also, we got a bunch of hand-me-down furniture from when I was a baby, too. We're waiting until after the shower to fill in the gaps on everything else!

We're in the process of it! Right now, I'm sorting through all the hand-me-down stuff (keep, toss, donate) and making a few repairs on things that need fixing.

Yes -- I tend to only actively worry if something seems to be off/different, like if I'm a little crampy one day or something.
