Would you bring LO or not?

DH is going on a business trip to Las Vegas end of Nov.  He wants me to go.  Everything is paid for for him we would just have to buy my plane ticket and food money.  Now I have to decide if I take Olivia or not.  She would be 8ms then and my SIL would keep her (I trust only her to keep her for those 6 days)  The issue is can I leave her for those 6 days.  I'm sure I will still be BF so I would have to pump (not really a problem).  DH will be at business meetings all day so I will be by myself the other guys who are going don't have wives or SO to bring.  I never left my other DDs when they were this young.  It would be good for DH and I to have this time together.

    For me, I would not bring her, but only for these two reasons.  1 - DH and I took a mini-vacation together without DD1 for the first time last May and it was really great for us.  We were only gone from her for 4 days and she was 4 years old (I know A HUGE difference than 8 months), but I couldn't believe that she was 4 and we had never gone without her for more than a single night at all. 2 - I don't know what all there is to do in Las Vegas aside from the adult stuff (I've never actually been).  

    I can also see the other side of this as well - if there is family friendly stuff to do (and again there might be, but I've never been so I don't know) then it may be a really fun trip for the three of you to take.

    my DH and I were just talking about Vegas.  I have been wanting to go, but we don't want to take DS.  It is so Smokey everywhere you go.

    I'd leave her home.  We took a trip right around when our first was about that age, leaving him with my mom.  It was so great to have a little break and reconnect, just the two of us.  Also, the thought of my DH being tied up leaving me loads of free time COMPLETELY ALONE sounds like bliss.

    Any chance you could go for part of the trip?  Maybe 3 or 4 days?  You could fly with DH and fly home a few days later.  A few days away, sounds like a great time for the two of you.

    I agree with the PP--cigarette smoke EVERYWHERE!  I'd leave Olivia at home (and besides--this could be where you and hubby start trying again)!  ;)

    I would be miserable without my baby.  In fact, I have to travel for 2-3 days for work in a couple of months and my DH and baby are tagging along.  I haven't been to Las Vegas so I can't speak to the smoke aspect though.
