Hello...low HCG/Prog..anyone else have this?

in 1st Trimester

Hi ladies,

I am most likely around 12dpo today. I have been getting faint FRER positives since Sunday. Lines havent gotten darker even today. I went in for bw today and my hcg level was a 13.1 and prog was 11.7. My RE said to just come in in 2 days to see if levels doubled, he didnt seem pessismistic or optimistic either way.

I was just wondering if any of you had lower levels at first. I am just nervous that my levels arent rising because I have also taken CB digitals which are all negative. If a FRER picks up at 12.5 and has been so since Sunday, and CB Digis pick up at 25, and my hcg hasnt gone from 12.5 to 25 in 3 days, is that bad?

Thanks for any advice, I am just going a little crazy here!

    I did have low HCG levels but not low Progesterone (I am on suppositories). My HCG levels are listed in my siggy.  I don't really have any advice, but I can understand how stressful and anxiety provoking this can be.  Mine ended up leveling out but, I still haven't had an ultrasound to see if everything is ok, and I am still a nervous wreck!  I hope that everything works out for you!

    I'm pretty much in this exact same boat, but I haven't gotten my progesterone b/w or betas back from today yet.  I will get them in the morning.  I am on Crinone for low progesterone.  I've been on it since 2dpo, so I'm hoping it's helping.

    Seriously, at 12 DPO your levels should be low! Your period isn't even due to start yet. When I conceived my daughter, I had bloodwork done at 13 DPO and I think my HCG was like an 8, progesterone was about a 10. I'd already had a miscarriage and was freaked but my doc reassured me that it was totally normal for that early on. She did start me on progesterone supplements but more as a precaution bcs of the earlier miscarriage than because she thought my levels were too low at that point. So relax.

     And the urine tests cannot determine how much HCG is in your blood. That concentration totally changes depending on how concentrated your urine is, etc. And I always found the dollar store tests to be more sensitive than more expensive ones. So please don't let those freak you out as well.

    Thank you so very much everyone! I did get a positive on the CB Digital today so I am hopeful that means my numbers are rising :) I am going to wait to get excited until beta tomorrow though.
