Garden City Hospital?

Has anyone delivered there lately? My OB delivers from either Oakwood or Garden City. I had my last baby at Oakwood and was less than thrilled about the experience.

Good, bad, anything?

    A friend of mine runs an adoption agency and just had a delivery (for a birth mom) at Garden City and said that the birth mom was very happy with the care she got, and so was she. Everyone was treated very well! HTH

    Does Garden City have a NICU? Personally, I would prefer a hospital with a NICU for peace of mind. Oakwood is a much bigger hospital than Garden City. I have no personal experience with either, just a thought.

    i delivered there last month. i liked it i had my own nurse while i was there. its a smaller hospital so if u like one on one attention id say go there. the only bad thing they dont have a nicu so ur baby could end up at oakwood any way.

    Thanks for the positive input! I grew up in a very small town where there was only one hospital for 50 miles, so the size isn't an issue. I could write a book about all the things I hated about delivering at Oakwood but obviously if my child is in need of a NICU that's a different story.
