my little parrot
she seriously repeats EVERYTHING we say now. the other day we were having a conversation in her presence (not with her) and all of a sudden we hear her repeating "mobic! mobic! ambien! ambien!" LOL
just now I was just finishing up a conversation with a customer service rep and there was a cute little echo in the background (not sure if the rep could hear her LOL). here's how it went...
me: ok, thanks
her: ok, thanks!
rep: is there anything else I can do for you today?
me: no, that's it
her: no that's it!
rep: that credit should show up in your account in 1-2 business days
me: great
her: great
rep: well if there isn't anything else I can do for you today, you have a great day
me: thanks, you too. buh-bye.
her: thanks, you too. BUH-BYE!
she totally cracks me up, it's hilarious 
we really do have to be careful what we say in front of her now!!! has anyone here slipped up and said something they weren't supposed to in front of LO and had him/her repeat it?

hahah hilarious!!! i've always loved to have a parrot so I am sure I'd get a kick when LO starts doing this lol...
but yeah, you have to be careful with the things you say now :-P...
apparently my little one saw the AT&T logo this morning and called it "Ti-Tees" (that's a short i sound for the first syllable... oy!).
But he has also been parroting - the other day my husband said "Danka" and he repeated it without hesitation, lol.
We've been watching what we say b/c he picks up the weirdest things - haven't had any slip ups yet - I'm sure it will happen though!

haha, that is classic! at least you were able to blow it off. the sitter admitted she said "damn" in front of her once and she immediately repeated it but luckily it hasn't stuck and she hasn't said it again since.
