  We got our 1st azoo SA, 9/10...the second SA, later that month, and a biopsy in Jan 2011 ...I am in the 2ww now. I have a progesterone check tomorrow @ 7am...ugh.

  ttc since 10-09 first visit with RE 09-10 ME-everything ok DH- AZOOSPERMIA...biopsy confirmed Sertoli Only Cell syndrome Donor IUI#4 was the charm (8-27-11) with 125iuFollistim/Ovidrel/Endometrin/PIO/vit D beta #1 9/8/11....BFP!!! : ) @ 47.7 beta...#2 9/15/11... 1,998 beta#3 9/22/2011- 27,900 Baby's hb seen @6w2d ! 1-3-2012 20 wk u/s everything lookin' good!

   Hi all! I introduced myself on the board earlier today, but I'd like to check in and get added to the list, too.

  Dx: PCOS dx 07/11, SA #1 08/11, no sperm.

  Plan: SA#2, Looking for MFI urologist for further exam and testing

   

  I can't tell you how relieved I am to find a group of people dealing with a similar/same issue. Like I said before, I'm still processing this... and trying to stay positive until we get SA #2 and an exam and find out if there's still any hope.

  Welcome! I am soo sorry you have to be here. The women here are wonderful and I would be lost without them too.

  Good luck at your appointment, and make sure you are seeing a urologist that specializes in Male Factor Infertility.

  O-dust, baby dust, sperm dust, and sanity dust for all of us...

  Congrats to any BFP/good news I may have missed in the past few days

  Update: IF Urologist has diagnosed H with primary testicular failure - Chances are H was born this way, and there is nothing that can be done to correct it.  We have an appointment next Weds, to meet with an RE since all of our prior testing was done by ob/gyn or the urologists.   We feel pretty ok about moving forward with using DS if possible. I feel like every month for the past year and a half,  I've lost my hope for having a child every time my period arrived.  Now, we know the reason why it didn't happen, and can start moving forward with giving both of us a reason to hope.  I think it helps that we have and continue to research and be knowledgable, and we weren't really surprised at this point by our diagnosis.

  QOTW:  H's first zero sperm count came back on June 27, 2011.  It was the worst phone call I've had to make in our 6 year relationship.

  Update:  I'm 4dp3dt and trying to stop thinking about whether or not this worked.  I'm not having much luck though.  It consumes my mind.  This is going to be the longest 2 weeks of my life.  My beta is 9/12.

  QOTW:  We always knew it would be a possibility because DH has CF, but the SA results still hit us pretty hard.  We got the results in Feb.  Can't remember the exact date.

  Hi everyone!  Congrats to Bellewife!

  So I had my IVF consult a few days ago and everything is getting put in place.  I am starting our first IVF cycle as soon as AF shows.  YIKES!  So in less than two weeks probably!!!  ER/ET should be the last week of October as long as my b/w and SHG come back okay.  I will be on the long Lupron protocol.  And my dh has agreed to do at least one more SA to see if they find anything at all.  Our uro gave us no hope really, they could find nothing that is causing his azoo dx, but with IVF you need so few sperm, why not try.

  When did you first get your azoo dx?

  Well dh had his first SA back in 2008 and it came back then with a 7million count.  We had to stop pursuing IF treatments then and we seriously thought about adoption for a while.  We just started again with IF treatments in April of this year and got the azoo dx. 

  No PIP for me because I cannot figure it out on my iMac.  *shrug*

  Welcome back Mrs.B!  I'm so glad you love Dr. P and I hope you have a great result!  He is AMAZING!  We go back for a follow up on Oct. 24th.  DH is still on the Arimidex so he is just checking his levels since he has been on it for so long. 

  Welcome to all of the newcomers.  I'm so sorry you have this Dx but I hope you find the support and hope I have found.  
  

  I'm just waiting for AF so I can start BCP!  

  QOTW: April 2009  My GYN suggested a S/A to "rule that out."  Low and behold that was our issue.  

  PIP:  My cat in siggy.  Even though that was 7 years ago, it still makes me happy to remember her so little!

  Hey Ladies!  Thanks for the warm re-welcoming   I haven't been as active on the board lately, but I am always thinking and praying for you ladies!  Congrats to any BFP & welcome to any newcomers!

  We were first diagnosed Jan 2010, which was a year after we first started TTC.  We had our first biopsy in May 2010 and just had our second biopsy/repair last Thursday.  We go back in 5 weeks for our follow uo SA....these weeks are going to take forever

  TTC #1 since Dec. 2008 01/10 - DH diagnosed with Azoospermia 05/10 - First Biopsy - producing sperm 08/11 - Second Biopsy..4 vials frozen 08/12 - First IVF BFN & no more vials Don't know our next plan...

  Hi, Sorry I haven't been around (bad weather issues). We started our cycle and I have been on stims - we are set for ER for Thursday (scared out of my mind). Nervous because I don't have that many follicles so the dr doesn't expect many eggs. Triggering tonight at 9PM!

  QOTW - As horrible as this sounds - we got our azoo dx on Valentines day! No amount of chocolate in the world could stop my crying that day

  DH on Clomid / Arimidex to address hormonal issues - Sperm found July 2011!

  IVF #2 Lucky November 2011 - ER 11/25/2011 - 15 eggs!, 13 mature, 10 fertilized with isci - 7 made it to transfer! Transferred 1 - 8 cell and 2 - 7 cell. BFP!!!!
  1st U/S - Twins! 2nd U/S - 3 heartbeats!!! - HOLY COW!!!
  Prayers for our take home babies!
  2 babies born on 3/27/12 and lost. Last baby born on 3/29/12 and lost at 20 weeks.
