Question about the city mini stroller

For anyone who has the baby jogger city mini stroller, I'm wondering - I tried it out with LO this weekend and i thought she didn't seem to fit in it yet - she sits up just fine in it but the shoulder straps seem like they're way too high above her shoulders, even on the lowest setting.  Are they supposed to fit like that?  Because it seems like she'll have to be REALLY long before they'll fit at her shoulders the way car seat straps are supposed to fit.  But then I hear people saying they use their city mini with small babies as soon as they can sit up ok in it.  I'd love to start using it, but not if it's not fitting her right.

Thanks!

Re: Question about the city mini stroller

  • The straps are high on Liam, too, and I keep readjusting them, but it hasn't seemed to be a problem. When he was younger, we did the "lying flat" position.

  • We solved this problem by using one of the padded head rest things they sell for use in car seats... It keeps the straps away from his head and face (because the extra length is behind the head snuggler).

  • Thanks!  I'll try her in it again and see how it goes.  The headrest is a good idea, too.  Her carseat makes her so hot and sweaty that I'd like to start using the regular stroller instead of carseat/snap and go.
