does it ever make you feel kind of sick? i feel terrible saying this, especially since I haven't felt LO much the past few days and have been dying to feel some movement. but last night in the middle of the night and this morning (s)he has been rolling around DEEP inside, and it's freaky. i love the flutters that are closer to the surface of my belly and the little thumps that I can almost feel outside. but this is way deep and low, definitely near my bladder. when i first felt it i thought it was gas, but then realized i didn't have to toot! come on baby, move to a new spot! please!
Re: when you feel baby move...
I know exactly what you mean so you are not alone... I love feeling my little guy kick but sometimes he gets in a bad position and when he kicks it makes me feel a little sick!

This is baby #2 for me. It's a little unnerving the first time you feel something very low or very near your spine - but it's kinda of neat (to me anyway) to think about how much they have to move to reach those places.
If you think get a swift kick to the bladder or the crotch is weird, wait until you get the foot lodged under the ribs. My first's favorite spot (at bedtimes too) was to wedge on little foot or fist under my ribs and stay there - as if catching my breath wasn't hard enough!
Hang in there - it might feel weird but at least you can be reassured you've got a healthy little one with all that movement!
Yes at first. But things have gotten a lot better this week.
The motion I felt about three weeks ago would make me feel nauseous every time. That seems to have gone away over the past week as the little kicks and wiggles have become more regular.
Last night, the kicks and movement felt very different and found out today at a follow up ultrasound that the LO has moved to the top of my uterus and is positioned with her feet up over her head. So now I have not only a future acrobat but also yogini on my hands.
Yup, when I first started feeling movement, the best way I could describe it was as if I had vertigo of the uterus -- almost like my abdomen was dizzy. I never had flutters or bubble popping sensations.
Now I can feel kicks/punches, but when LO rolls around, I still get that vertigo feeling, which is kind of neat but also a little bit nauseating.
