we are going to a bbq/potluck on friday-it's at the home of my DH's department head at the university. We are bringing a dessert.
So I need a fancy yet easy dessert that travel's fairly well (a hour in the car). I love to bake so a good cake/cupcake/brownie recipe would be awesome but anything yummy and chocolaty would be appreciated.
Re: dessert for potluck needed

Because we're fancy like that.
Trifles are always good.
I make one with choclate cake layers/cool whip/chocolate mousse/and cut up candy bars (any you like)
she recommends boiling the kahlua if kids are eating it, which I never would have thought to do. But would def work. And I either just dust it with powdered sugar or make a glaze with powdered sugar and milk (instead of the kahlua she uses). It is awesome.
