Anyone else really struggling with clothing options? I've lost most of the baby weight (have about 8lbs to go) but my body is just differently shaped now. My butt is smaller but I have some belly fat, which is new for me. Plus I have these huge, leaky breasts to manage since I'm EBFing! I'm hesitant to buy new stuff until I'm back to my pre-preg weight but my OB still doesn't want me exercising for several more weeks...so I'm living in big ol' yoga pants and nursing tanks and I feel so sloppy and unnattractive. Don't get me wrong, I'm so grateful to have been pregnant and to be holding this precious miracle in my arms. Sorry this turned into a vent! Please tell me I'm not alone in these feelings

Re: I don't know how to dress this new body
I am really stuck as well! I have lost the weight but body shape is different my pants and things don't fit right! I am still wearing maternity jeans when I go out but its hard to find longer tops that cover the stretchy top portion.
I agree BF makes its hard as well. I have found that a tank top underneath a shirt is pretty easy. I pull the shirt up, and then the tank top down under my breast and I'm pretty covered.
Has anyone found a good bra that doesn't make your boobs look horrible? With the bad bra plus nursing pads so I don't leak my boobs look horrible in most shirts!
While I can fit in my pre-pregnancy jeans just fine, my pre-pregnancy shirts are a WHOLE different story!
I went to the Thrift Store last weekend and got some new tops. It really made me feel much better about myself, and the clothing was inexpensive.
I am SO glad to hear that other people are having the same issues that I am. I wasn't aware that hips changed so much during pregnancy. I've always been more "boyish" in the hips and butt, so this is completely new to me. I can't get my jeans past my thighs - due to my hips being wider. My boobs are HUGE. I hate them. I'm BF, so they are going to be this way for awhile, but I just find them so unattractive. I also feel that they make me look larger since they are so gigantic.
For those of you second time moms, do the hips go back to pre pregnancy width or am I stuck with wider hips?

// I love you too. //
Right after having Quentin, my hips were SUPER wide and nothing fit. After about a year postpartum, they got back down to almost the way they were pre-pregnancy...just slightly wider.
So it may take awhile, but there is hope
