Puget Sound Birth Center Mamas...

This is my first time going there from the start of my pregnancy.  I have my first appt. at 10 weeks, and am wondering how they handle the NT scan.  I obviously have to go somewhere else, but do I just schedule it after the 10 week appt?  or should I call now and get more info on the process?

    You will only get one ultrasound at 20 weeks. They will give you a referral and you make the appt at Evergreen with MFM. hth!

    And congrats by the way!!!!!! :)

    Welcome! I am going through there for my birth as well. They were really helpful in that they sent my info and referral info over to Evergreen Fetal Medicine for the scans. I then called a day later and made an appointment- it was really easy.

    It also wasn't much different from how I did the NT scan (I did that at 13 weeks and finished the sequential scan in my 15th week). In that case I was still with my OB (before I switched) and she also just sent a referral to the Fetal Medicine specialists. You should be able to get whatever screens you want as long as they're covered by your insurance.
