Sick baby

Took Jack to his pedi because he had a couple of spots on him when he woke up this am. The ones by his lips looked like fever blister but he didnot have a fever. After his nap he had more spots on his face and hands so I called and took him in. The dr. Said he thought it was hand foot and mouth disease. I mentioned that I had been worried it was strep because a couple of my employees had it. He said he doubted it but he would swab. 5 minutes later I hear the nurse say "no way!". Turns out he has both! So they gave him antibiotic shots and I'm to keep giving him tylenol and plenty of fluids. The thing is he has been so pleasant and still is giggly and sweet it's hard to know he's sick. Added to that my blood pressure has been sky high all day from the med infusion so I have felt horrible! When we finally hot home from The dr. Picking up meds and other stuff and I sat down with Jack to give him a bottle i burst into tears. I feel so bad that he's this sick. And I feel terrible that I'm going to be taking him on a plane tomorrow even though the dr. Said the antibiotics would kick in fast and it would be fine. Ughhhh this week has been rough!!
