New Years Eve Help!

I know we are 3 months away but we are trying to figure out what to do with the credit we have on expedia for the Acapulco trip we are no longer taking. The 4 of us are looking to go somewhere for NYE. We are very limited in the sense that we need to pay $150 per person to change the flight and we have to travel via Continental. Luckily the hotel is completely refundable. We were looking into Quebec City or Montreal but it's a bit more than we would like. Toronto is an option, we would just have to pay the $450 extra to switch the flight. We can also go to Boston and what's nice is that it's a cheaper option and the 450 extra won't affect us. So ladies, what would you do? With 2 little ones, is Boston a good option or would you pay a little extra and go to Canada? If you have any other locations you like for NYE with little ones, please do share! :-)

Re: New Years Eve Help!

  • I love Boston!!  I don't know about eveyrthing to do with kids there (I've only ever been there as a teen/adult) but they do have Boston Common and the book "Make Way for Ducklings" was based on it!  It's gorgeous and if you or your kids love that book, it makes it even better :)

  • I would probably choose Boston.  I've never been, but have always wanted to go.

Jen, you should be a reading teacher!  I love that book.

I would LOVE to be a reading teacher.  Trust me, every day I wonder more and more why I got certified in science.  Drama and reading work much, much better together!!

My reading class at FIU for elementary ed was my favorite class!!

  • It's been so long since i've read the book! I haven't exposed the boys to the book quite yet but if we decide to go to Boston, it would be a nice way to introduce it. ;) Thanks!
