I hate weekends

when DH is gone. For some reason they seem lonelier than the rest of the week. Maybe it is because if we were home he would be home all day and we would spend it together. Anyone else feel this way?

    Yep I feel the same. Although DH is almost gone for a year now the weekends seem to be the worst. That is why I stay at my parents house almost every weekend so I dont drown myself in sorrows.

    Agreed, especially a long weekend like this one! It feels like literally everyone else I know is hanging out with their husband, and I'm just at home hanging out with the dog.

    Seriously. Weekends mean nothing when you're a stay at home mom and your husband is deployed. The only thing that changes is we go to Church. That.is.it.

    Of course I miss DH when he works weekends! I try and stay busy to help pass the days he is working and it doesnt take much to fill my schedule since I work full time as well. My weekends are my only time to relax so I take advantage of them.
