Shower Game Idea, need some opinions

So I'm planning the games for me shower, yes I've heard it all before I'm planning it and it's fine, anyhow need an opinion on the diaper game where you put the baby food in the diaper and guests guess what it is. I think it sounds like fun and keep the party interesting, but not 100% sure. What do you guys think?

I think its great that your planning your own party, i see nothing wrong with it. i like the game idea.you can also do it with chocolate bars and people guess what kind of candy it is.

I think the diaper game is gross and seems messy. I would in no way want to participate is sticking my nose in something that was supposed to be like a dirty diaper. I'd rather play bingo or decorate onesies.

I hate that game with a passion. No offense to you at all, but I just think it is absolutely disgusting and do not understand why grown women think it is fun. My husband was actually shocked at this particular game.

Since you clearly don't care about how it makes you look to host your own party, then go ahead and play a game where you ask your generous friends and family to stick their nose in a diaper covered in fake poo. Can't make things any worse!

i third this..because a baby shower is full of adults, I am not going to subject them to kiddie games. Just my opinion

I am not a fan of that game but i admit i do like shower games

I love shower games. I would not play that game...just gross IMO. So is the one where you actually have to taste unmarked baby food. YUCK!

If you truly are hosting your own shower and if you think your guests would like this game then go for it. Obviously your family and friends have different tastes then any that I have encountered.

For a shower I hosted, I found a big cute plastic jar that had a duck (the theme) on and filled it with cotton balls. Then people had to guess how many were in it. I hadn't had my own baby at that point, but now that I have, I think baby q-tips are more useful. I also bought a baby bathtub and filled it with stuff for the baby (soap, washcloths etc). It was placed in a spot where every guest would have to go by it. Towards the end of the shower, we passed out papers and had everyone try and remember what was in the tub. We gave them a minute or two I think.

I had heard of this game.... thought it was gross and totally didn't get why someone would do that to their friends. Now I've been to a few showers where it was done (using different types of chocolate bars that were melted and put in the diaper) and it was a huge hit. So I've converted. (Note- not sure if it made a difference or not, but the showers where it was such a success were all female showers that served alcohol). Go for it!
