  I don't know about the coughing. I do get the burping, and my only solution has been to make DH promise to claim it if one accidentally comes out in public.

  I dont think i have coughed once during this pregnany but man the burping that comes with the acid reflux is killer! id stay away from citrus and carbonation!

  Wow, these people are brutal.  That sounds like something I just read about called GERD.  If you Google that, you should be able to find ways to take care of it.  Hope that helps.
