So on top of all the house issues we have had, where we have water damage from neighbors on both suffered from two different incidents and our main level is unlivable, yesterday I went in for my 8wk sono and there was a fetus,yolk acc but no hb....dh and I are devistated. I was so excited that I was going to get to "come out" today and join our string of March and April babies. I had a mc at 10 weeks before ds... So at least I know I can carry a pregnancy but it still sucks bigtime!i have to wait until tues to do anything about it bc of the holiday weekend and I am not bleeding.... If you know me on fb, I'm not talking about it on there.... Thanks! Have a nice weekend!

I'm very very sorry. And I know the doctor's know what they're doing, but did anyone say that it's possible the baby's heart hasn't "started" yet. It's usually between weeks 6 and 8, right? If you're off at all in your dates, it seems like that could be a possibility. I know when I had a sono at 7 weeks DD's HR was only in the 70s. Then next week it was in the 150s.

I don't want to give you false hope, but I just wanted to be sure someone had brought this up. Again, I'm very sorry.

oh my, i'm so so sorry you have to go through all this at once. a loss is never easy at any time but certainly not with your house stuff piled on top!

i agree with pp who mentioned timing could be off. when i had my m/c they made me come in a week later just to be sure there wasn't a hb if my timing was wrong. like pp said, i'm sure your doctors know what they're doing but make sure you advocate for yourself too. hugs to you.

I agree with the other posters that it is not "feeling sorry for yourself" to grieve a (possible) loss. Definitely check again for the HB before doing anything else, just in case.
