I will have to check and see if it's egg free too! Thanks for the tip.
it is! we use it for everything now so that I don't have to make it from scratch every time we have a party.
Yea! I tried the Cherrybrook icing in the jar - YUCK. I have been making Food Allergy Mama's recipe which is good but I love that I can keep some on the shelf and not have to make it each time!
My twins are 5! My baby is 3!

DS#3 - Allergic to Milk, Egg, Peanut, Tree Nuts and Sesame
I use spectrum shortening with powedered sugar, butter flavoring (the one I use is dairy free not sure if they all are), vanilla and water to make yummy soy/dairy free buttercream. Mostly I just do gluten free baking, but I make cakes for a friend whose daughter is soy/dairy/gluten allergic/intolerant and this is the frosting I use for her cakes.

Cherrybrook kitchens has a premade and also a box mix for icing that is egg free as well as gluten, soy and peanut/treenut free.

We used to use that till we found normal store bought varieties that were safe for her allergies. I have to day that is the *worst* frosting (if you can even call it that) ever. We tried the box and the premade tub and both were awful.
