I've heard that getting the first child a new toy to be used only when you are feeding LO #2 can be a great idea, so they don't get too jealous and are occupied.
Any ideas that worked for you?

My older daughter wasn't phased by me feeding #2. I would read, sing, or talk to her while feeding #2, but she was just as happy to play with her toys on the floor as she was to sit next to me and look at a book. My advice is just to be relaxed about what's going on, so your older child doesn't sense you feeling uneasy, and therefore make them feel like something is wrong when you take care of #2.
