Spinal Headache

I got one...I thought I was dying.  It was awful.  I ended up back in the ER because of it.  Now, however, about once a week I get bad headaches (not nearly as bad as the spinal one), but still pretty bad. 

Anyone else?  Before I got 2-3 headaches a year...

     Sorry I really don't have any input. I just wanted to say that I didn't get one with my first c-section but I'm scheduled for another one and I am truely petrified of this! My mom had a knee replacement and she got some kind of a spinal for that and she said the spinal headache was worse than the actual recovery from surgery. She could barely function at all, I have no idea how anyone would deal with that and their kids!!!

    They didn't.  I also had pre-e with my pregnancy, so when I went to the ER, they thought it was more related to the pre-e.  I got some dilaudid...it made it bearable and got sent home.  I thought I was dying from a headache it was so bad.  The next morning I told DH it's so much better when I lay down...then the red flag went off. I realized then it was a spinal headache as opposed to the pre-e.  It lasted almost a week.  Looking back, had I realized it then, I would have definitely asked for one!

    I realized after the fact that I had a spinal headache.  I am super-annoyed that none of the doctors/nurses recognized my symptoms, and I'm praying it doesn't happen again with my RCS.

    i got one with my 2nd c-section and it was horrible.

    i had 2 choices do the patch which i didnt want to do OR take high dose of caffeine and stay in bed.

    because lo was in the nicu i took the high dose and stayed in bed... worked wonderfully.
