Recommend your humidifier

We got a solid 5 nights of use out of our humidifier before it died.  Now I see the reviews online and I see that I'm not the only one that had problems with it.  So please recommend your humidifier.

    I have an Air-O-Swiss 7135.  I like that it is ultrasonic and there are no expensive or hard to find filters to exchange.  It also has a cartridge to capture minerals, which reduces white dust.  We have really hard water and the white dust was horrible with our old humidifier.  We still get some with the Air-O-Swiss, but not as much.  I bought it at Bed Bath & Beyond with a 20% coupon.

    My only complaint is that you fill it on the bottom and there is no handle on the bottom, so it is a little awkward.

    Ultrasonic is the way to go in my opinion though.

    We just bought a Vick's filter-less one this past week at Target.  It was around $45, and stopped J's middle of the night coughing streaks immediately.
