Rolling

Two days ago, DS rolled from back to tummy for the first time (he started rolling tummy to back around 2 months).  Yesterday, he figured out that he can roll over and over again to get where he wants to go (usually just one of his toys, thankfully. Definitely time to babyproof the house, though...).  Last night, he figured out that he can roll over onto his tummy in his crib, start crying, and Mom or Dad will magically appear!  So, that's what he decided to do.  All. Night. Long.  Please tell me that the rolling over gets old eventually and he'll decide that sleeping is more important than making himself ticked off!?!?

  • Oh.my.gosh we are dealing with the exact same thing, well except DS hasn't figured out how to roll tummy to back yet.  Ugh, he is a pro at going from back to tummy but then gets stuck and just cries.  DH has been traveling so I'm up every 30 minutes or so rolling him onto his back.  I miss sleep.  I know sleep positioners are big no-nos but boy would I love to put one in his crib!  On top of that since he's rolling I can't swaddle anymore so he wakes him self up flailing.  Zzzzzz...I don't have any advice but just know you're not alone.  GL!
