Hi Ladies!! I thought I would check in with the pros about a dilema I am having deciding on my breast pump. I had registered for the Medela PISA Metro bag mostly because I like the way the bag looked.
I was just trying to score the pump at Burlington Coat Factory because they are much cheaper and I have a 20% off coupon. They ofcourse don't have the Metro bag in stock just the On the go tote and backpack. My understanding is the Metro bag is a bit bigger and the pump can come out of the bag. My question is do I need it to come out of the bag?? When I go back to work(Im a vet) I will be using the pump several times daily but don't know in what circumstance I would need to remove the pump. It also comes with removable work space and I am not even sure what that means.
I thought it would be easier just to see what other people are using and if they wish they had gone a different way?? TIA

I hope you still check this thread. :-)
I LOVE my Freestyle. I can put it in my scrubs pocket (pants or top) and move around if I need to do so. I am fairly certain you're in day practice, so you might have dedicated times to pump without interruption. Being ER only, I always aim to pump uninterrupted, but, well, emergencies happen.
I have no experience with the PISA and whether or not it comes in/out of the bag easily, but the Freestyle is literally the size of my palm, and well worth every penny more than the PISA for its mobility. However, I would NOT recommend using the included hands-free straps. They slip (often) and then you're just left with a mess. I purchased the Simple Wishes hands-free pumping bra, and have been pleased with that for a truly hands-free mobile option (but you could use the PISA hands-free too with the same bra, just not be truly mobile).
